The Timeline Project is both a zine and an online tool developed by Bayer Healthcare and Faith Popcorn's Brain Reserve. Dedicated to inspiring women to achieve their long-term goals, The Timeline Project not only allows women to build a “timeline” of their own, but it also displays real life accounts of women who are actively working on bringing their ambitions to fruition.
In collaboration with Lightbulb Ink and Faith Popcorn's Brain Reserve, I illustrated a three page spread in The Timeline Project zine entitled The Side Hustle Game. In this article, writers Veronica Chambers and Jennifer Larson discuss the various ways in which women can use their skills and hobbies to generate an additional income to support a long term goal or passion. To better convey this concept, I illustrated a board-game based on The Game of Life - aimed at helping readers gain an idea of how far their “side hustle” could take them. Each illustration was hand-drawn and digitally rendered.
